    COMMISSIONER:  
    - Brian H  
     
     
         
    ROLE OF THE COMMISSIONER:  
    - To oversee the results and to manage the website.  
    - To make final decisions regarding league rules.  
     
     
         
    LEAGUE:  
    - No limits on numbers of players.  
    - You must be an employee to be eligible to play or voted in by group.  
     
     
         
    DO-OVERS:  
    - CAUSE  
         - If you hit a bad shot.  
     
    - ACTION  
         - First Hole Tee Box  
         - You may re-hit another ball and play the best one for your second shot.  
     
    - PENALTY  
         - No stroke penalty.  
     
    - NOTE  
         - There are no other free do-overs during the round.  
     
     
         
    WHAT IF SHOTS:  
    - CAUSE  
         - If you hit a shot you just don’t like.  
     
    - ACTION  
         - You may re-hit another ball that does not count and will not be played again.  
         - You must announce to a fellow player that you are hitting a “what if shot”.  
     
    - PENALTY  
         - No stroke penalty.  
     
     
         
    UNPLAYABLE SPOTS:  
    - CAUSE  
         - If your ball lands in an unplayable spot such as but not limited to:  
            - Another fairway that is currently in use by other golfers  
            - Behind a tree/bush  
            - Cart path  
            - Construction area  
            - Dirt  
            - Rocks  
            - Roots  
            - Sand trap holding water  
            - Sprinkler heads  
            - Water puddle  
            - Wrong green  
     
    - ACTION  
         - You may move your ball laterally over to the closest playable spot that is not  
            improving the distance remaining to the hole.  
     
    - PENALTY  
         - No stroke penalty.  
     
     
         
    OTHER FAIRWAYS:  
    - CAUSE  
         - If your ball lands in another fairway.  
     
    - ACTION  
         - You may move your ball laterally back into the correct fairway if there are  
            players on the other hole and hitting your shot from there would either slow  
            play or put other players in danger.  
     
    - PENALTY  
         - No stroke penalty.  
     
     
         
    FLUFFING:  
    - CAUSE  
         - If your ball lands in a low lying spot.  
     
    - ACTION  
         - You may fluff your ball position up nearby to an improved height.  
     
    - PENALTY  
         - No stroke penalty.  
     
     
         
    LOST BALLS:  
    - CAUSE  
         - If your ball lands in the leaves, deep grass, or the woods and you can't find it  
            in a short reasonable time frame.  
     
    - ACTION  
         - Drop a ball in the nearest playable spot to where the ball was lost.  
         - Drop spot on hole #2 is crest of the hill.  
         - Drop spot on hole #6 is near the manhole.  
     
    - PENALTY  
         - No stroke penalty.  
     
     
         
    OUT OF BOUNDS:  
    - CAUSE  
         - If your ball lands in one of the designated out of bounds areas such as:  
            - All roads  
            - Clubhouse  
            - Pavilion  
            - Driving range  
            - Parking lot  
     
    - ACTION  
         - Drop a ball in the nearest playable spot to where the ball went out of bounds.  
     
    - PENALTY  
         - No stroke penalty.  
     
     
         
    SAND TRAPS:  
    - CAUSE  
         - If your ball lands in a sand trap.  
     
    - ACTION  
         - You will be required to hit from its location or the nearest lateral playable  
            spot if it lands in an unplayable area of the sand trap.  
         - Each hit to get out of the sand will count as a stroke.  
     
     
         
    WATER HAZARDS:  
    - CAUSE  
         - If your ball lands in the water such as a creek or a pond.  
     
    - ACTION  
         - There are no do-overs from your original shot location without counting  
            a stroke for the original shot.  
         - You must play your ball from a drop site behind the location in which it  
            entered or crossed over the water hazard.  
         - Each hit to continue to get over the water will count as a stroke.  
     
    - PENALTY  
         - No extra water stroke penalty.  
     
     
         
    GIVE-ME'S:  
    - CAUSE  
         - If your ball gets within a standard putter length of the hole.  
     
    - ACTION  
         - Pick up the ball and count the stroke without having to hit the ball in.  
     
    - PENALTY  
         - No stroke penalty.  
     
     
         
    SCORE LIMIT:  
    - CAUSE  
         - If you have a really bad scoring hole.  
     
    - ACTION  
         - The score limit per hole will be set at 2 times the par of the hole.  
     
     
         
    TOURNAMENT SCORING:  
    - You must establish a handicap during the golf year to qualify. (Jan 1 to Jul 31)  
     
    - Current tournament will consist of group play matches to establish the seeding  
      for the finals.  The group play rounds will be scheduled according to the chart  
      setup depending on the number of players in the tournament.  
     
    - On August 1, qualifiers handicaps will be frozen and used during the  
      tournament to calculate the number of holes that must be given or received  
      from opposing player.  
     
    - During the tournament there are no caps on scores for each hole.  
     
    - Handicap's will be limited to a maximum of 6 strokes.  
      One stroke per hole using the hardest holes in order up to 6 holes max.  
     
    - Winners of each match will be determined by match play scoring.  
      The winner shall receive 1 point and ties are 1/2 point to each player.  
     
    - In the event of a tie for seeding going into the finals for the tier championships  
      the tie will be broken by whoever won the most holes during group match play.  
    - If there is still a tie refer to the putt off rules.  
     
    - The 1st and 2nd place group match play leaders will move on to a two round  
      aggregate match play final.  
      The player with the most holes won during the two rounds will be the winner of  
      the tier 1 championship trophy.  
     
    - The 3rd and 4th place group match play leaders will move on to a two round  
      aggregate match play final.  
      The player with the most holes won during the two rounds will be the winner of  
      the tier 2 championship trophy.  
     
    - The 5th and 6th place group match play leaders will move on to a two round  
      aggregate match play final.  
      The player with the most holes won during the two rounds will be the winner of  
      the tier 3 championship trophy.  
     
    - In the event of a tie after the two match tier championships the tie will be  
      broken by an 8 hole putt-off on the practice green.  
     
          A coin toss or tee flip will allow the winner to determine starting order.  
     
          Order of who goes first will rotate with each hole after that.  
     
          Each player shall putt around the green in first a counter-clockwise and then  
          a clockwise direction for a total of 8 holes.  
     
          The starting point will be the hole closest to the clubhouse.  
     
          The ball will be placed behind the flag on either side of the starting hole per  
           players choice to start play for the next hole.  
     
          A player will play the entire hole then the opposing player will play the hole.  
     
          The winner will be determined by the lowest overall score after 8 holes.  
     
          If there is still a tie then the putt-off rounds will continue until a winner is  
          determined.  
     
    - In the event of something unforeseen a group decision can be made to modify  
      the tournament as needed.  
     
    - All current golf rules of the TTL Golf Club must be followed.
