TRASH TALKIN' LEAGUE

FOOTBALL RULES

COMMISSIONER:

- Brian H

ROLE OF THE COMMISSIONER:

- To oversee weekly schedules, the results, and to manage the website.

- To make final decisions regarding league rules.

LEAGUE:

- You must be an employee to be eligible to play.

PICKS:

- Picks are due by Thursday at the end of the workday unless notified by the

Commissioner.

- If you are going to be late please notify the Commissioner for an extension.

- If you absolutely cannot fill in all your picks by the time due, send in the picks

that are highlighted in green (which will be for Thursday and Friday games)

and do the rest before the start of the Saturday games.

MISSING PICKS:

- If you miss picks for Thursday or Friday games your picks will be filled in with

whatever letter (A or H) that is least used among the other players that made

their picks.  Coin toss for tie.

- If a whole week of picks is missed then your picks will be filled in to match

whoever finishes in next to last place.

ACCURACY:

- It will be up to each individual player to check their results for accuracy.

- If there is an error with the schedule having the wrong team listed and it goes

unnoticed then the result of that game will not be used in the weekly totals.

POSTPONED GAMES:

- If a game is postponed for some reason (ex. weather) then the game will be

scored in our totals after the game has been made up.  If the game is unable

to be made up then that game will not count toward our overall scores.

TIE GAME:

- If a game ends in a tie all players will receive credit for a win.

TIE SEASON:

- If the season ends in a tie then a tiebreaker will be used to determine the

league champion.

- The parties involved in the tiebreaker will appear before the commissioner to

make selections.

- If the Commissioner is in the running then an alternate third party will oversee

the process.

- Tiebreaker steps will include:

Turning in picks at the same time.

2 player tie:

Drawing lots to see who picks an odd score and who picks an even score.

Winner - By who comes closest to the combined total score in the

championship game.

3 or more player tie:

Drawing lots for picking order from a numbered sheet with ranges of 0-99

and 100-200 grouped by 3.

Winner - By what group of numbers the combined total score in the

championship game is.

ETIQUETTE:

- Remember the name of the league is "TRASH TALKIN' LEAGUE"

- That means trash talking your fellow competitors is encouraged.

- Be polite and keep the group texting trash talk between the hours of 9:00 am

and 9:00 pm.

- If the texts get to be drawn out please send text directly to that person instead

of the group.

RETIREMENT:

- If you withdraw from the league during a season you will be publically shamed.

- Please show good sportsmanship and finish the season.

- Don’t mess up all the hard work that went into creating that years league.
